Does and Don’t of a RA:

1. Always monitor communications of your employees.

2. Always use your company's communication device while communicating with clients.

3. Never delete any client communications messages/chats/call recordings.

4. Use SEBI registered email ID for client communications.

5. Follow all the compliances that I told you to follow.

6. Never promise or use any word that induces promising returns to clients.

7. Keep all compliance records in the drive.

9. Don’t overcharge (More than your service fees) from clients.

10. Don’t sell multiple Research Services packages to clients without mail consent from clients.

11. Don’t charge more than Rs. 1,51,000 plus GST per year from family clients (Where members depend on single-earning clients) for all Research Services.

12. Send Proper Invoices or Communications of payments to clients (Either manually or through Payment Gateway).

13. Always track my updates on compliances and do the needful on a priority basis.

14. Don’t open any private Limited or Corporate company of your clients for excess service fees.

15. Always monitor and track your website and update when needed.

16. Don’t use multiple trade names; one trade name per RA is allowed.

17. Take money only in your SEBI-registered: Bank Account Name.

18. Never ever charge money in CASH or in another Bank Account from clients.

19. Always work in the best interest of the Investors.

20. Tell your employees to pass NISM-XV if they are dealing with direct clients for sales.

21. Send your employees joining and relieving letters when they join or leave.

22. Renew your rent agreement before expiry.

23. Pay proper GST if you are collecting from your clients.

24. Don’t take other business money in your Research Services Bank Account; only office expenses and withdrawals are allowed.

25. Maintain Proper Research Rationale with Disclosures and Disclaimers, mention proper risk on your Group Research Calls, and keep all the records on the drive.

26. Must add 3 years' daily closing charts on Stocks BTST, Swing, and in Long Term Recommendations.

27. You must add a screenshot of the Group call history with the date and time in your research rationale so that you have a research call history if your group is deleted or in the worst conditions.

28. You must sign all pages of the research rationale (Digital Sign) and save it in the drive for 5 years.

29. Every 30 days update in Free and Paid Groups regarding social media fraud in the name of a well-known face. (Send 21Notice - Stock Market Scams through Social Media Platforms PDF in your Group)

30. Take Client Consent, FATCA, and KYC details before starting any RA Services.

31. Promptly refund money to clients for any unused Research Services.

32. Provide your website link in each Free/Paid call for risk disclosures.

33. You must check the SEBI SCORES portal every week for any client complaints without fail.

34. Must maintain a Notice Board at your office premises.
